About Us
Valley Walker Ministry was established in 1996, when God called Pastor Cheryl to begin an outreach ministry to women, based on the challenges in her personal life. As a single parent, she faced struggles and hardships navigating through the difficulties of life.
Valley Walker Ministry is the heartbeat and fiber of the inspiration from the heart of God. Isaiah 61:3 speaks of God's promise to replace mourning for joy, despair with praise, and heaviness with gladness. This is often interpreted as a metaphor of God's power to transform difficult or painful circumstances into something beautiful and positive. Only God can give "Beauty for Ashes," turning difficult and confusing situations into something beautiful and great, to help not only yourself, but also to help others. He takes us from a season of pain and hardship and turns our mess into messages. He turns pain into joy and mourning into dancing. He lifts our sorrows!
